Who is this for?
People who live in Google Sheets at work: operations, finance, sales ops, marketing, analysts and anyone who wants to stop copying formulas from forums. If you know what a cell reference is, you can start.
Do I need a Google account?
No. Each exercise runs on a small spreadsheet in your browser that follows Google Sheets rules for the functions it uses, including arrays that flow from FILTER, SORT or SPLIT into the next function, and Sheets error values such as #N/A and #VALUE!.
Why did my answer fail when the number looked right?
Every answer is also recalculated with changed inputs. A formula that types in today's number, or points at the wrong cell, is right once and wrong the second time. That is exactly what breaks in shared spreadsheets.
How much of QUERY is supported?
The parts people use every day: select with columns or sum, count, avg, max and min; where with comparisons, and, or, not, contains, starts with and date literals; group by; order by; limit; offset; and label. Pivot, format and options are not supported, and columns are named by letter (or Col1, Col2 for arrays) as in Google Sheets.
Do I need an account?
No. The first five exercises work without one and save progress in your browser. A free account saves progress across devices, and Pro unlocks the rest.
How do I cancel the monthly plan?
Open Account and choose Cancel subscription. That is the whole process: you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for and are not charged again. If Pro is not for you, you get a full refund within 14 days of paying.
What if my answer is right but marked wrong?
Answers are checked on the result they produce, not on how they are written, so any correct answer passes. If a check still gets it wrong, use the report link under the result. Reports are reviewed, and a check that is wrong gets fixed.
